Samarinda - East Kalimantan (Kaltim) is moving fast to realize the vision of "Successful East Kalimantan Towards a Golden Generation," especially in the mission of developing superior human resources. Today, Monday (13/10), two education experts from Adelaide University, Australia, namely Ms. Kathy Watson and Suria Mcdee, have arrived in Kaltim to begin an intensive mentoring program.

This visit is part of the acceleration to improve the quality of education in Benua Etam, focusing on the implementation of the Bilingual School Program. From October 12 to 16, they will provide direct assistance at three pilot schools: SMAN 10 Samarinda, SMAN 3 Tenggarong, and SMAN 2 Sangatta Utara. In addition, a workshop will also be held for teachers in Balikpapan to ensure the transfer of knowledge and best practices.

Armin, the Acting Head of the East Kalimantan Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud Kaltim), stated, "This program is expected to be a strong foundation for creating East Kalimantan's Golden Generation who are not only intelligent and productive, but also superior and globally competitive through the mastery of an international language. This is in line with Governor Rudy Mas'ud's vision."
