CLIL & Bilingual Education Innovation Hub
The CLIL & Bilingual Education Innovation Hub is a professional development centre dedicated to enhancing bilingual teaching and English-Medium Instruction (EMI) through research-based training, school mentoring, and national–international collaboration.
Established under the Master of English Language Education Program (MPBI), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Mulawarman, the Hub serves as a collaborative space for teachers, lecturers, schools, and policymakers to design and implement effective content-and-language-integrated learning rooted in the cultural richness of Borneo.

What We Do

We offer a three-level certification pathway:

We support schools in designing bilingual curriculum, CLIL Unit Plans, thematic modules, and bilingual assessments.
3. Research & Innovation
We lead classroom research, develop digital learning tools, and publish academic works on CLIL, EMI, and bilingual education.
4. School Mentoring & Coaching
We assist schools in building sustainable bilingual ecosystems through coaching, lesson study, and teacher support.
5. Cultural Integration
We embed Indigenous knowledge and local cultural wisdom of Borneo into bilingual learning and curriculum design.
